Dr. Chiwai Eddy Chan, D.O. attended medical school at Western University of Health Sciences. After 2 years of surgical training, Dr. Chan completed a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at Stanford University and served as the chief resident. He then subspecialized in pain medicine and completed a fellowship at Mayo Clinic. Dr. Chan has adopted the Mayo tradition of excellence in patient care, medical education and research. He focuses his efforts on caring for the whole person, and not treating a series of symptoms.
Dr. Chan has presented numerous research abstracts in national meetings to his colleagues. He constantly keeps himself up-to-date with the latest advancement in surgical and non-surgical treatments in pain medicine.
Dr. Chan has a unique and specialized training in surgery, physical medicine and rehabilitation, and interventional pain medicine. He utilizes a multidisciplinary approach to address each patient’s needs and committed to provide the best pain care in the area.
